A Summertime Classic

The end of summer is soon approaching which means it’s almost time to say goodbye to summer clothes (AND hello to fall gear!). Summer season and warm weather in Southern California extends well into fall and even winter! Nonetheless, I try to get the most use of a summertime classic, the pique polo shirt.

A classic polo shirt gives you a laid back look with a comfortable feel. Polo shirts come in just about any color you can think of so have some fun and go with a color you usually don’t wear in your daily wardrobe. I went with a yellow pique polo shirt and blue swimming trunks. For an extra added look pop that collar! I finished the look with a pair of Sperry Top Sider shoes.

L.A. has recently been hit with a heatwave so we headed to Hermosa Beach. The laid back vibe, the smell of the ocean and chill bars were perfect to spend a lazy Sunday evening!

What I love about the polo shirt is you can wear it straight from the beach to a casual dinner. You guys have to try Pamilla Cocina y Tequila restaurant. The Hongo Asado tacos (mushroom grilled) are amazing!
