Steve is a graduate of California State Polytechnic University Pomona with a double major in Business Marketing and International Business. He has worked in the marketing field for several years with numerous well-known companies and sports teams including: Chivas USA, Fox Sports, AEG, La Opinion, the Ontario Reign, the Anaheim Arsenal, and Castells and Asociados.

 

Steve always had a passion for men's fashion and grooming. He expressed his individuality and creativity through his sense of style and grooming and did so throughout his corporate career. He chose a career in marketing because that field gave Steve an outlet to express his creativity. When asked, “Why did you choose marketing?”, his answer was simple, “Because I can be creative and wear suits”.

 

He worked his way up the corporate ladder and managed the marketing department for a major media company. Every step he took up that ladder, he would find himself full of joy and eager to continue to move up. But within a few months of reaching the next step, he would find himself missing something.

 

Working endless days and nights, Steve always made time to prep his outfit for that big meeting. No matter how tired he woke, he took pleasure in waking up to begin his grooming regimen, he truly enjoyed it. He’s a firm believer of, “How you do anything is how you do everything. Your work, creativity and appearance should always be on point. It all shows who you are.”

 

With a knack for business and a huge interest in fashion and grooming, he found himself helping colleagues with tips on how to improve their personal and professional image.

 

Which brings us to today. He discovered his true passion for men’s fashion and grooming and created ‘The Social Cut’. The Social Cut is a gentleman's lifestyle and grooming blog that offers tips and inspiration that you can use from the streets to the boardroom.
