Same Ol’ Suit Giving You The Blues? Learn Why That’s A Good Thing

I never quite understood why people never want to be seen wearing the same clothes on social media photos. I’ll admit, I’m guilty of that but let’s be realistic, unless you’re making stacks of money to purchase “disposable clothing” then you’re probably going to wear the same clothes and outfit time after time.

The key is to get creative. Challenging yourself to come up with as many outfits as you can with one suit allows you to get your creative juices going. We always get creative with our suits by adding different ties, pocket squares, shoes, etc. Next time you wear your classic navy blue suit, try a subtle creative look.

I kept the classic blue suit with black double monk strap shoes by Magnanni, lost the tie and threw on my favorite Ebbets Field cap for a more casual look. I also matched the blue suit with green color tones for my v-neck sweater and shirt.

One of my favorite things to do with suits is mix different suit pieces together. Here is the same navy blue suit with a grey pinstriped vest from another grey suit.

You can find the classic navy blue suit being worn from the streets to the boardroom. So step out of your same ol’ suit combo rotation and see what you can come up with!
